Before or after experiencing those exciting activities, enjoy a meal that’s perfect for the whole family at one of Virginia Beach’s kid-friendly restaurants.

Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Virginia Beach

Here are some our favorite kid-friendly restaurants in Virginia Beach.

Pizza is always a popular choice for all ages. Let the whole family grab a slice of their favorite pizza or split a whole pie. North End Pizza has a menu for kids 10 years old and younger that features their favorite entrees and pizza by the slice. Local pizzeria Dough Boy’s also has a menu specifically for kids. Order two slices of cheese pizza from the kid’s menu, and your little one will receive a free frisbee.

Virginia Beach’s local bars and pubs also feature dining options for children. Enjoy a cocktail overlooking the boardwalk, while the kids munch on some of their favorites such as chicken tenders, hamburgers and macaroni and cheese. Restaurants like Beach Pub have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, steaks and fresh, local seafood for the adults, while also offering kid-favorite fare from the kid’s menu.

Kid-Friendly Breakfast Restaurants

The best way to have a successful day in Virginia Beach is to start with a filling breakfast. Throughout the city, you’ll find a number of eateries offering classic breakfast fare that the kids will scarf down.

With over 100 items on the menu, it’s nearly impossible not to find something to enjoy on Sunnyside Café’s menu. Open seven days a week, Sunnyside has everything from eggs and breakfast sandwiches to French toast, waffles and specialty items.

Another family-friendly breakfast option is Pocahontas Pancake & Waffle House. A go-to breakfast hotspot in Virginia Beach, Pocahontas Pancake offers a casual, family-friendly environment and a menu with all of your favorite breakfast choices. Pocahontas has even been featured as the “Best Pancake House in Virginia Beach” on Food Network.

Kid-Friendly Seafood Restaurants

Seafood may be your favorite, but pickier eaters can be more resistant. Let the adults enjoy Virginia Beach’s seafood dishes at these kid-friendly seafood restaurants that also offer children’s menus with more standard offerings.

Send your cares away as you eat and swing at Rudee’s Restaurant & Cabana Bar. If the weather allows it, grab a seat outside at one of the gliding tables. The kids certainly won’t feel cooped up when they’re dining in the fresh air with a view of the water. The children’s menu doubles as a coloring activity page while featuring their favorites, from mac and cheese to crustless PB&J.

Let the adults indulge at King of the Sea’s seafood buffet while the kids order off their own menu. In addition to their all-you-can-eat seafood buffet, King of the Sea also boasts a children’s menu, for diners under 10. Let the little ones have their own seafood feast with fried clam strips and popcorn shrimp, or order something more familiar such as chicken fingers.

Children 10 and under can dine at George’s Seafood Restaurant. The kid’s specials include familiar favorites while the adults enjoy the extensive seafood buffet and menu offerings.
