Oct. 3–31: Haunted Hunt Club Farm

The Halloween season kicks off in Virginia Beach with Haunted Hunt Club Farm. This month-long event features plenty of Halloween thrills and live entertainment. Named one of the “Top-Rated Haunts in America” by the Haunted Attractions Association, Hunt Club Farm’s Halloween event is not to be missed. Experience the haunted hayride, Field of Screams, Village of the Dead and more. Hunt Club Farm will also have less-terrifying family fun during the day.

Oct. 5–6: Biplanes & Brews Air Show

Sip craft beer as you watch vintage aircrafts soar through the sky at the Military Aviation Museum. The Biplanes & Brews Air Show, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5–6, will showcase the museum’s collection of WWI aircrafts in a spectacular show. In addition to the air show, there will also be craft beer from local and regional breweries, as well as live music and food trucks.

While you’re at the Military Aviation Museum, take a tour of the exhibits and even ride in one of the two open cockpit biplanes.

Oct. 6: JT Walk & Beach Party

Raise money and party during the JT Walk Beach Party. The JT Walk raises money and awareness for ALS research. Hundreds come out for the walk, at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, each year then stay for the awesome party. After the walk enjoy live music, drinks, food trucks and more at the beach near 31st Street. Rodney Atkins and Buckshot will be performing. Perfect for the whole family, this event also features face painting, pizza, cotton candy, bounce houses and more.

Oct. 19: Harvest Fair

Join the Virginia Beach Farmers Market as they host the annual Harvest Fair. This is the perfect time to support local growers and artisans who will be selling seasonal goods at this fall market. The fair includes a craft show, on-site food trucks, children’s activities, live music, a pie eating contest and much more. The Harvest Fair is free to attend.

Oct. 19–20: Virginia Beach Craft Beer Festival

Raise a glass to craft beer at the Virginia Beach Craft Beer Festival, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19–20. Sample over 60 craft beers from more than 30 breweries on the beach at 30th Street. Your ticket includes unlimited sampling, a commemorative cup and live music. Back Bay Brewing Company and many more will be at the festival.


Be sure to also see what national headliners are coming to Virginia Beach. The Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater hosts a number of popular bands, singers, rappers and more during the summer season.

October will mark the last performance of the season at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater. Chris Stapleton’s All American Road Show will perform on Friday, Oct. 18.
