Here you can admire, discuss, participate, and perhaps bring an art treasure home. Every month, you’ll find a new exhibition that explores a special theme, such as life by the water, painting outdoors, combining media or different cultures.

Every day, you’ll find the work of over 50 regional artists with studios or exhibiting in The Artists Gallery section of the center. Artists creating in their studios are happy to discuss their work, its inspiration and vision.

We offer a full array of art classes for beginners, experienced artists and anyone in between. You can also participate in discussions, art-making or social activities related to the current exhibition theme. Classes can be found on the website.

Don’t miss our fully equipped Pottery Lab. You may see a class, an artist working during an open studio time, or see pottery pieces in the various stages of completion – a fascinating experience.

The Virginia Beach Art Center is dedicated to enrich lives by experiencing art in many ways. Join us any day Tuesday – Sunday. There is free parking and no admission.
