Open year round, the Virginia Zoo offers family fun, education and excitement for everyone. Meet and greet tigers, kangaroos, red pandas, giraffes and more. Take a ride on the Zoo train or stroll through our gorgeous gardens. It’s an adventure for the whole family!

The zoo’s newest exhibit, World of Reptiles, is now open. World of Reptiles is the slithering, creeping, crawling and curious adventure you’ve been waiting for. Discover the new exhibits, meet who’s here and learn how you can donate.

 

Admission is only $14.95 for adults, $11.95 for children ages 2–11 and $12.95 for seniors ages 62 and older. Children under the age of 2 and Zoo members always are admitted free. The Virginia Zoo also honors reciprocal members from other participating zoos.
