Calling all Gingerbread devotees! Time to get your gingerbread jingle on. Entries for the 4th Annual Virginia Beach Gingerbread House Competition and Exhibit are now being accepted! All ages, backgrounds, and professionals are invited to compete in the competition. No experience is required. Free to participate. All entries will be on display at The Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum located inside the historic de Witt Cottage, 1113 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, throughout the holiday season.
Key Competition Dates & Information:
- November 22, 2024: REQUIRED Competitor Entry Form due. REGISTER HERE
- November 27-30, 2024: Entry delivery – all Gingerbread entries must be completed and delivered to The Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum. See OFFICIAL RULES for delivery times.
- December 1, 2024-December 30, 2024 – Gingerbreads will be on display for in-person viewing. Online voting will be conducted December 1-27, 2024.
- Categories – Child, Youth, Teen Adult (age 18 or older), Restaurant/ Business, Bakery Business or Pastry Student or Professional
- Awards – People’s Choice per category.
