
Holiday Parade at the Beach
On Saturday, December 4, at 5:30 pm, join us for the Holiday Parade at the Beach, where almost 90 parade units make their way down Atlantic Avenue in a joyous celebration of the holiday season.
Giant balloons, marching bands, lighted floats, equestrian units, fire trucks, performing dance groups, motorcycles, and more join forces to present a dazzling and entertaining night of fun for all ages!
And, best of all, Santa himself makes a grand appearance to greet all his loyal fans as the evening winds down and thousands of families take the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Virginia Beach oceanfront!
The parade travels north on Atlantic Avenue from 15th Street to 25th Street. The reviewing stand is located at 25th Street and Atlantic Avenue.

Know Before You Go:
Atlantic Avenue and numbered streets in the 200 block are closed to vehicular traffic from 7th Street to 15th Street at 4:30 (except 9th Street garage entrance) and Atlantic Avenue from 15th Street to 29th Street is closed at 5 pm.
Parade is held rain or shine. Parade may be suspended or postponed due to severe weather or in case of severe weather forecast. Follow Live! On Atlantic on Facebook and Instagram for weather updates.
Public restrooms are located at 2nd Street, 17th Street, 24th Street and 31st Street.
Parking is available at 9th Street Municipal Garage (200 9th Street – Virginia Beach, VA 23451), 19th Street North & South Municipal Lots (300 19th Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451), 25th Street Municipal Garage (336 25th Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451) and 31st Street Municipal Garage (209 30th Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
