Virginia’s local, seasonal marketplace with fresh fruits and vegetables!
Located by the Chesapeake Bay within the East Beach Community in Norfolk, Virginia, this free farmers market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m.–Noon starting May 2, 2015.
Multiple farmers markets and vendors around the area contribute to Farmers’ Fare in order to bring in a wide variety of products and goodies that are both local and fresh.
The market features fresh products such as:
- Free-range chicken and turkey
- Fish and seafood
- Artisanal breads
- Made-from-scratch cupcakes
- Brownies and cookies
- Gluten-free options
There are also sauces, preserves, locally made dog treats and much, much more!

The Farmers’ Fare Mission Statement is to “provide the community with Sustainable, Measurable, Affordable, Responsible, and Trackable (SMART) fare in a seasonal marketplace which creates business opportunities and producers.”
