Virginia Living Museum
Don’t let the word “museum” fool you. Much of what you see at the Virginia Living Museum is very alive and interactive. The Mariners’ Museum and Park
Dedicated to the culture, history and science of the sea, The Mariner’s Museum and Park is one of the largest maritime museums in the world. The 90,000 square foot building is home to a variety of exhibition galleries including an International Small Craft Center and the well-known USS Monitor Center. Surrounding the museum is a 550 acre park with a 167 acre Lake Maury and a 5 mile trail along the shore with 14 bridges known as the Noland Trail. At the museum you can find:
