The three-day festival is set to feature award-winning musical performers as well as guest speakers and special appearances.
About Pharrell Williams
Virginia Beach native Pharrell Williams has been in the music industry since the early 1990s. Williams is a successful rapper, singer, song writer, producer, fashion designer and entrepreneur. The 10-time Grammy Award winner is a judge on The Voice and has produced music for artists, including Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Migos, 2 Chainz, Justin Timberlake and many more.
In a press release, Williams said he wanted to bring the festival to Virginia Beach to “unite the community and celebrate the diversity and magic of Virginia Beach.” He went on to say, “for the first time, we are harnessing that energy, bringing the great minds of our time and the biggest brands in the world to this great place, and letting the inspiration flow and well-deserved opportunities unfold. Virginia needs this right now and the world will see what we Virginians have known all along: there really is Something in the Water.”
