1. Harpoon Larry’s
Located at the corner of 24th street and Pacific avenue in Virginia Beach, Harpoon Larry’s is an excellent place for raw oysters. They also have great alligator bites (yes, alligator bites!) and crab dip.

2. Catch 31
A very upscale oceanfront seafood dining destination. Catch 31 has great oysters and crab legs as well as other favorites such as the Shrimp and Chicken Gorgonzola Pasta and the salmon.
Tip: This is a fantastic “couples spot” for dinner combining beautiful boardwalk views of the Atlantic with a posh interior and outside patio right by the 31st Street Stage with live music and entertainment all summer long.

A little more rustic looking in this south of the Oceanfront location, Big Sam’s offers fresh oysters with a local no frills flare, plus great drinks!

5. Chick’s Raw Bar
Locally renowned, Chick’s raw oysters and steamed shrimp are just the start. Located right off of Shore Drive, this North Virginia Beach location offers a beautiful view of the Chesapeake Bay. It is also very easy to get to from the Oceanfront.
