The Virginia Beach Restaurant Week runs from January 20-26, 2025!
2025 marks the 20th year of Virginia Beach Restaurant Week, a weeklong celebration of the Virginia Beach culinary scene highlighted by specially designed menus with pre-fixe pricing, discount hotel options, and The Pineapple. Restaurants will incorporate the pineapple in their décor, beverage, or menu options. So look for the pineapple. You never know where it might be.
Why The Pineapple?
They stand stately, golden-hued diamond patterned rinds tapering at the top and adorned with showy crowns. In addition as a symbol for prosperity, they (pineapples) served a dual purpose as a sign of hospitality, intimating the best was reserved for visiting guests. They are pineapples, and they have been part of Virginia’s food and foodways for centuries now. It’s appropriate, then, that the pineapple becomes a new symbol. This time it is a harbinger of the warm welcome, wonderful dishes at exceptional prices, and countless memories to be had at the 2025 Virginia Beach Restaurant Week.
