March 1: Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad Annual Oyster Fest
Enjoy lots of delicious food and drinks, plus we’ll have live music, amazing silent and live auctions, craft artisans, and rescue squad equipment to explore for this 16 years and up event! Your support allows VBVRS to purchase the advanced lifesaving equipment and supplies we need to answer more than 21,000 calls a year. The treatment and transport we give our community costs you absolutely nothing. Please help us continue to help you!

March 5: Out of the Box Series: Anthony Rosano & The Conqueroos
Join us in the Sandler Center Miller Studio Theatre every Thursday from January 8 through March 5* for a FREE concert by one of Hampton Roads’ best local bands, curated by WHRO’s Paul Shugrue! Every Out of the Box concert starts at 7pm with doors opening at 6pm. Concerts are standing room only – please contact Todd McKeating at tmckeating@sandlercenter.org or call 757.385.2528 regarding a VIP table purchase or sponsorship.
March 6: #FirstFriday Walking Tour in ViBe District
Every First Friday of the month at 6pm. Meet up at the LOVE sign on the corner of 18h Street and Cypress Avenue. Free parking on 18th Street. No need to sign up– just show up! Bring your friends or pup to tour over 1 mile of art along 17th, 18th and 19th Streets and popping into businesses hosting featured artists events. Bundle up and bring your flashlight in the winter months! This tour is free with support from the Virginia Beach Arts & Humanities Commission.

March 21-22: Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend 2025
The Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend will take place in Virginia Beach, Virginia on March 21-22, 2026. This St. Paddy’s Day tradition has a race distance for every goal: Marathon, Half Marathon, 8K, and challenges. No matter the distance, you’ll experience the best of Coastal Virginia on our flat, fast, and scenic course before you cross the finish line overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The party continues after the race at our post race celebration on the beach with Yuengling Beer and live music.

March 27-April 3: Cherry Blossom Festival
Join us at Red Wing Park for a delightful fusion of cultural celebration and the natural beauty of blooming cherry blossoms.
