April 3: #FirstFriday Walking Tours
Join us in the ViBe Creative District every First Friday of the month at 6pm. Meet up at the LOVE sign on the corner of 18h Street and Cypress Avenue. Free parking on 18th Street. Bring your friends or pup to tour over 1 mile of art along 17th, 18th and 19th Streets and popping into businesses hosting featured artists events. Bundle up and bring your flashlight in the winter months! This tour is free with support from the Virginia Beach Arts & Humanities Commission.

April 18: East Coast She Crab Soup Classic
Join the 2026 competition on Saturday, April 18 (12:00–2:30 p.m.) at 31st Street Park, Virginia Beach. Sample regional favorites and vote for the People’s Choice Awards in this premier seafood showdown. Tickets are required for sampling; children 12 and under are free (non-sampling). Held rain or shine.

April 19-26: Earth Week

April 25: Bulls & Barrels Beach Rodeo
Experience pulse-pounding action on the Virginia Beach sand April 25–26 at 3:00 p.m. Watch top riders compete for a $12,000 prize, plus enjoy barrel racing, mini bulls, and a petting farm. Tickets go on sale in February, with VIP packages available. Children 2 and under are free!
